ABOUT US

OUR MISSION

Our shared mission is to transform the culture of mental health by destigmatizing and depathologizing the essence of what it is to be a human. We provide inclusive, trauma-integrated care that creates a world that embraces differences, reduces stigma and encourages access to mental health care.

Our Care Values

Humanistic Care

We challenge the standard mental health system of pathology; offering a non-pathologizing approach to mental care. We see you as a whole person- not a ‘label’. You are not ‘disordered’, ‘broken’ or ‘flawed’. We believe the challenges and ‘symptoms’ that bring you to therapy are meaningful reactions and responses to current or past experiences.

Neurodiversity-Affirming Care

We attend to the uniqueness of neurodivergent minds and believe in personalized, evidenced-informed, person-centered care. We understand that standard therapy approaches, with specific structure and format, were designed without much consideration of neurodiversity. We honor the neurodivergent culture and tailor therapy to your unique neurotype.

Innovative Care

Our integrative trauma approach blends clinical practice with neuroscience. We offer a range of innovative, non-invasive and drug-free therapeutic approaches guided by cutting-edge research in neuroscience to support and meet the therapy needs for all.

In therapy, she focuses on building a relationship that feels safe, predictable and deeply attuned. She helps clients explore emotions at their pace, while also guiding them to understand why the coping strategies and patterns that once worked are no longer helpful for the challenges they are facing now. Dr. Moolayil believes that therapy is more than a space to vent; and gently helps clients move into deeper work that leads clients to real and lasting change.

In additional to psychodynamic therapy, Dr. Moolayil offers neurodiversity-affirming neuropsychological and psychological evaluations. She often uses testing to guide therapy with greater intention—bringing insight to emotional patterns, highlighting how each client naturally thinks and processes the world, and identifying any neurodivergence that may be influencing current struggles. With this foundation, therapy becomes more focused, compassionate, and deeply personalized.
